Shall we discover Sapa with a new travelling route – the 245-km highway from Noi Bai to Lao Cai to shorten the time and distance from Hanoi to Sapa?

 

Not only do we admire the spectacular landscapes, but also enjoy amazing sights on Vietnam’s longest expressway on your own way.

Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa

06h30: We will pick you up at your accommodation in Hanoi and depart to Lao Cai, on the highway from Noi Bai - Lao Cai with 245 km in length in less than 5 hours. Take time to enjoy and take photos of the beautiful scenery on the both sides of this road.

 

12h00: We finally arrive Sapa after a long drive. Wait no more to enjoy local Vietnamese lunch to re-energise yourself and prepare for the next activities.

Lao Chai – Ta Van –

Giang Ta Chai

13h00: Then we will start our journey about 4 hours to visit Lao Chai - Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai. There, take time to explore the life of ethnic minorities and admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields.

 

Let’s visit the ancient rock in Sapa with engraved images of big and small rocks, or the unique patterns of the ancients. Wait no more to admire the Bridge made by clouds crossing the poetic Muong Hoa stream.

 

Stay and play some activities in Giang Ta Chai Village then we will get back to Sapa to take a rest after a long amazing day.

Day 2: Sapa - Cat Cat village

07h00 - 08h00: It’s time to wake up and enjoy local breakfast together.

 

09h00: Let’s start the trip on foot to explore the Cat Cat – Sin Chai village of ethnic group of Hmong - which was discovered by the French and chosen to become their resort in the early 20th century.

 

Spend time to visit the hydropower station, the waterfall of the Cat Cat village and learn about the unique culture and customs of the people there with traditional crafts such as weaving, or forged agricultural tools.

Try out Vietnamese lunch

12h00: After that, let’s get back to Sapa to enjoy lunch at local restaurant.

 

Then you will have your own free time to visit Sapa for shopping souvenirs, trying out local food. But friends, don’t forget to get back to hotel to take a rest for activities in the next day.

Day 3: Sapa – Hanoi

After the breakfast, you will have your free time to walk around the town where you can find the love market, the church, the famous mountain Ham Rong and the Silver waterfall or the Sky portal.

 

If you want to rent a bike or tour guide, please inform us as early as possible. 

 

10h00 - 11h00: Let’s get back the hotel to check out and have lunch together. Then you can take time to look for souvenirs and prepare to come back to our dear capital after a 3-day-2-night tour with a lot of beautiful and unforgettable memories.

 

16h00: It’s time to say goodbye our peaceful town to get on the bus and come back your accommodation. The tour ends but let our memories live forever.

Price: it depends on which kinds of hotel you want to stay:

  • Trip staying at 2-star hotel: 125 USD/pax

  • Trip staying at 3-star hotel: 150 USD/pax

  • Trip staying at 4-star hotel: 158 USD/pax

What to bring?

  • Warm clothes, scarf, hat, cap because the weather in Sapa is pretty unpredictable. It is normally cold in September, October, November, December, January, February and March

  • Due to altitude of Sapa, it is sometimes foggy in December, January, February and March

  • Trekking shoes, sun glasses, sun cream, insect repellent are also necessary

  • Cash in Vietnam Dong because banking system in Sapa sometimes doesn’t function well. US Dollar, Euro, Australia Dollar are accepted in Sapa

  • Medicine although there are some chemist’s shops in Sapa in case you get sick

Children policy:

  • From 5-8 years old: Charge 50% sharing room with parents

  • From 5-8 years old: Charge 75% (2 children/room)

  • More than 9 years old: Charge 100%
