Also known as Đà Lạt Airport, it is located about 30km south of Đà Lạt, which seems quite far from the city center. It serves mostly domestic airlines with direct flights to Đà Lạt from Hồ Chí Minh City, Hà Nội, Đà Nẵng, Huế, and Hải Phòng.

The most convenient way to use is a taxi, costing you around 250.000 VND - 300.000 VND for one way. This is the best way if you travel with the group that you can share money together. Here are three truthful taxi brands you can take note of: Mai Linh Taxi (Tel: 063.3.678.888), Thắng Lợi Taxi (Tel: 063.3.835.835) or Đà Lạt Taxi (063.3.55.66.55).


The next one is the airport bus, which is the cheapest and convenient way if you travel alone. The last bus departs at 06:00 PM that if your flight is landed after that, you cannot take that bus. It takes you around 45 to 50 minutes to get to the city center, which you can take time to admire the view on the way. You can take Airport Shuttle Bus (from 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM) costing you 40.000 VND/ticket.


The last option is renting 4-to-16-seat cars which is the most suitable if you travel with a big group. How to travel between the airport and the city center

The most convenient and fastest way is taking a local taxi which takes you 15 - 20 minutes to get to the city center. However, it’s not the cheapest way, of course. It might cost you 150.000 VND - 200.000 VND for one way (for a 4-seat or 7-seat car). Or you can take the airport buses such as local or private buses. For local buses, you can check it on Google Maps for the nearest bus fixed with your timetable. It might take you 30 - 45 minutes to get to the city center and vice versa, costing you 5.000 VND - 20.000 VND depending on where you want to stop. Otherwise, you can take buses of some companies costing you 50.000 VND/ticket.


You can also use renting a car (for 4-seat or 7-seat options), motorbikes, motorbike taxis to travel between Phú Bài International Airport and the city center.

The distance between the airport and the city center (Đông Dương) is around 14kms. It has been operating since late 2012, a pretty new airport compared to others. Every day, Phú Quốc International Airport serves several flights both international and domestic.


How to travel between the airport and the city center


Most hotels, resorts in Phú Quốc operate the pick-up and drop-off service that you should ask them to save your money.


Otherwise, you can take taxis to get to the city center. It might cost you 180.000 VND - 220.000 VND and take you 25 to 30 minutes from the airport to the city center and vice versa. You can take Mai Linh Taxi (Tel: 0773.99.77.99), Hoàng Long Taxi (077.3.988.988) and Phú Quốc Taxi (0773.99.55.99).

For motorbike taxis or motorbikes, it will take you 30 to 35 minutes and of course, it’s cheaper that might cost you 60.000 VND - 100.000 VND.


For the cheapest way, don’t forget to use the airport buses of the flight agencies you take, such as Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet Airline, Pacific Airlines, Bambo Airlines costing you 50.000 VND/ticket.
